Come to St. Georges on Saturday, October 3rd, at 10:00 am for the Blessing of the Animals service, held in honor of St. Francis' Day.
If you have a furry, feathered, or scaly companion that you wish to have blessed that day, come and join us. As part of the service, we will hold a memorial for those companion animals that we have loved and lost, and we hope that you may join us for that as well.
Coffee and baked goods for both people and their companion animals will be available for sale (starting at 9:00 am) with proceeds going to PAW, a local animal rescue and adoption organization.

Handsome yellow lab--needs forever home
Hi, I'm Brody! Are you looking for a wiggly lab that just wants to snuggle? 'Cause that's me! I am a young adult yellow lab mix, and around 50 pounds. I'm being fostered in Cheverly, so come and meet me!
My foster says I am awesome! I love to get attention and we are working on "sit," "no bark," and other commands. I pick them up pretty quickly - with the yummy treats I get, how can I not? I'm a smart boy!
I get along great with other dogs. I also love to play with tennis balls - actually, if you have a pilates ball, hey, I'll pay with that, too!
I'm housebroken and cratetrained. Hey, did I tell you I am pretty close to perfect? Yep, I'm cute, too! Come meet me for yourself and you will fall in love!

Black Dog Roaming The Streets
This was posted on the Cheverly_Exchange earlier today:
We're still trying to locate the dog, but if you happen to see it or know who may own it, please try and help reunite them asap.
FYI, I just saw an older, black, male dog with a collar and tags roaming around Crest & Forest. He has a little tuft of white on his chest but otherwise all black.
He took off before I could get ahold of him.
